Our Story
Toby's Dog Grooming Salon was founded by brother and sister team, Jordan and Hayley in September 2023, inspired by Jordan's golden retriever, Toby. Like most goldens, Toby is a happy, loveable dog and the driving spirit behind everything we do, and that same energy is what you'll find every time you visit.
We are a small, family-run salon based in Banksia Grove, proudly serving the local community. Our salon is the go-to destination for dog owners across the local area, including Tapping, Carramar, Ashby, Mariginiup and Joondalup. Home to a team of qualified groomers with over 20 years of combined experience across all breeds and sizes, our groomers are trained and passionate about what they do, bringing both skill and genuine care to every appointment.
What sets us apart is our open, cage-free salon. Rather than kennels, dogs are free to roam and relax in our open space while they wait to be groomed or collected. Our reception area looks directly into the salon, so you can have some peace of mind being able to see how your pup is being cared for.
We use only high quality, professional grade products on every dog, because we believe your pet deserves nothing less.

Getting the Keys
Hayley and Jordan sign the lease on a bare concrete tenancy in Jewel Way, Banksia Grove. The dogs inspected the space and approved.
Building the Salon
The build begins. With a helping hand from dad and uncle, four empty walls start to take shape as a proper grooming salon.
Day One
The doors open. The first dogs come in. The hard work pays off and the Banksia Grove community shows up from the very first day.
One Year In
Toby's turns one. What started as a dream in an empty tenancy is now a proper part of the Banksia Grove community. Time to celebrate.
Still Going Strong
Today Toby's is trusted by hundreds of families across Banksia Grove and the northern suburbs. We're still the same small family business we started as, just a little busier.
